Connect to the Samba shares

The d-diot image has a Samba server that allows you to access the following directories from any machine of your local network:

  • /home/pi visible as “Pi”
  • /home/homeassistant visible as “HA”

To connect from a Windows machine read this guide, while if you are using a linux machine, the procedure may vary on the basis of the distribution and desktop manager (gnome, kde, etc…). Simply search a specific how-to on internet and you will find a solution.

In both cases it is an easy task, and probably you don't need a guide.
